    Hi Peter,

That is indeed very sad news. In all of my appearances at the OTVA Christmas Luncheons over the last 4 years I have travelled with Gordon on the train journey from and to the Southern Highlands to attend. He and I were work mates in Telex for about 11 years from 1973. In our time in this area we have bumped into Carol and Gordon at markets, craft stores, and local shopping precincts.
Gordon had a wonderful sense of humour and made every experience with him a delight. I was looking forward to travelling with him to attend this year.

We unfortunately will not be able to attend tomorrow as we have a previous engagement with other OTVA’ers at Albion Park.
Nevertheless, our thoughts and condolences will be with Carol and family on this sad occasion.

    Regards,
    Brian and Jennifer Collath…..

To all of Gordon Jesson’s family,

While we knew little of Gordon’s family life, at OTC’s Paddington terminal, I worked closely with Gordon for many years. Receiving news of his passing was a great shock, and it leaves me sad and numb.

Gordon was a delightful character and always brightened up the technical area when he visited from Head Office. He was kind and considerate and could share a joke well (very important at Paddington).

I will not be able to attend in Bowral, but please accept my sincere condolences.

    Dear Carol,

My deepest sympathies. I knew Gordon well and this news has come as a big shock to me.

He was a great bloke and a great tech.

I wish you all the very best for tomorrow, which I cannot make, alas.

    Best Regards,

    Bob Emanuel

    Sad news indeed, Peter!

I knew Gareth from the days I was a Circuit Assistant in the Operating Room till I retired as Customer Relations Manager, and all through those days I never knew Gareth to be anything other than a kind and considerate gentleman.

Till we meet again,May He Rest In Peace.

    Kind regards.
    Len
