If you would like to send a Tribute to Bob’s family please send it to me and I will pass it on and with your permission also include it on the OTVA web site.

Bob lived over the road from me in Ceduna.

I had just come off night shift one day and Bob was on day shift.

I was awoken by Bob’s wife seeking help for their young daughter.

She’d managed to push her head through a kids toilet seat which i unfortunately had to destroy to remove from her.

I reckon Bob thought cutting it off was over the top, but after being up all night it was the best option i could come up with.

RIP Bob Kraal, you were a real nice honest bloke!

Bob Kraal also worked at Carnarvon SES, perhaps 1970 / 1974.

Bob was polite and quiet person, and a competent one.

    Bob was well liked.

Please pass my comments on to Bob’s Family

    Regards

    Hi Peter,

The attendance at Bob’s funeral was overwhelming, the chapel was filled to overflowing.

The eulogies from family members were impromptu so I regret am unable to provide them.

Bob suffered from Motor Neurone Disease and the family requests donations be made to https://www.mycause.com.au/payment/charity/15

I caught up with Ed Willingham, Chris Ridley, David Peel and their respective wives and family, in all an emotional day.

    Cheers Graeme Hanigan
