Passing of Bruce Douglas Henderson – May He Rest In Peace

I wish to advise you of the passing of our dear colleague Bruce Douglas Henderson aged 57 on the 10th June 2012 at the Austin Hospital Heidelberg Vic. Bruce was there for around 12 months as he suffered from Asthma and related conditions most of his life. He is survived by his wife Anne and children Aaron, Catherine and Justin and their partners and two Grandchildren Amelia and William. Bruce started at OTC MOR about 1970 as a C/A, ITO, SITO. Area Controller when made redundant about 1987/88 he went to the State Bank until retiring due to Ill health. Bruce ‘s hobbies was as a Train and Model Trains enthusiast and Photography and his family. Bruce was our unofficial photographer at our AGM and REUNION meetings

 

Funeral service was held today (Thursday). at St. Peter’s Anglican Church Bundoora Vic at 9.30am.   The service was attended by about 130/140 family/friends including 17 ex OTC colleagues namely Tony and Elaine Fox with daughter Hayley, Paul S Murphy with daughter Kimberley, Harold Murphy, Michael Murray, Geoffrey Whitmore, Mervyn Jessop, Kevin Shea, Ken McArthur, John Caulfield, Robert and Elinor Geake, Tony Mikulic, Angelo Scambiatterra and Robert Hall.
