Message from Les Ayers<\/p>\n

A bit more sad new I’m afraid \u2013 one of our old operators from the SOR passed away on Monday.\u00a0\u00a0 Reg Fernando, he came originally from Ceylon with service in the Navy and Cable & Wireless in Colombo prior to joining OTC.\u00a0 He was employed in the SOR, Paddington and Broadway on International Telegram, Intlx, Data and Facsimile services and associated duties prior to the restructure of OTC and finished his service as a Senior International Telecommunications Officer before his retirement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0I’m advised by his daughter that services will be held at Woronora Cemetery on Friday 24th February @ 10.30.<\/p>\n
