I have been in contact with Peter Seaton over many years and have just learnt of his passing just prior to Christmas 2012 aged 92 years.<\/p>\n
I do not have much background on Peter however I met up with him at Moree in 1969. He was the respected elderly gentleman on the initial \u201cCollins Radio\u201d Satellite course during the construction of Moree Earth Station.<\/p>\n
He spent time at Doonside, Moree, Ceduna and ultimately in Head Office.<\/p>\n
In recent years he has been living in Melbourne initially alternating between two of his stepdaughters homes until he made the decision himself to enter into a Senior Citizens facility \u201cMilhaven Hostel\u201d in Pakenham Victoria.<\/p>\n
For those who knew Peter well would be aware of very keen interest in Mathematics.<\/p>\n
Well, he was still undertaking solving Mathematics equations right up until a couple of months before hispassing when his eyes started to let him down.<\/p>\n
I understand he had left his remains to Medical Science at one of the Melbourne universities.<\/p>\n
