It is with much sadness that I pass on the news that Graham has passed away

Graham had been living at home with his family. His brother, Brian, told me in June 2018 that Graham was not well due to his battle with myeloma (bone marrow cancer) which had developed into amyloidosis and his prospects were not good at that time. He was undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments to help him fight it.

Graham was transported to the Palliative Care Unit within Liverpool Hospital last night where he passed away at 2:00 am this morning. I believe that he was only about 60.

We pass on our sincere condolences to Brian and the rest of Graham’s family. May He Rest In Peace.

The below photos of Graham is from a 1994 Transit:

Please pass on my condolences to Brian and his great mate Wayne Worbouys.

He worked for me and was a good mate.

When I started running SCANTS Operations (responsible for 80% of OTC’s telephone revenue) Greeny gave me the OK to rat the network for the best techs, and I picked Wayne and Graham as my first two, promoting them from TO2 to STO2/3. Which caused quite a stink in some quarters, but class won out. He was a great tech.

I feel quite sad about this. Long after I left OTC I met a lass who lived in Paddo (now my wife), moved there and I’d run into Graham and Wayne getting lunch during the day.

    Cheers,

I remember Graham well from my early OTC days.

He was always kind and considerate individual with a passion for his work, and one who always was keen to assist me. He had a happy go lucky, endearing manner.

I am saddened to hear of his passing and wish his family my deepest sympathy.

    All the best,
    John Crea

    I liked Graham very much.

He worked for me for a short (along with Wayne Worboys) while I was acting Manager (Building Admin), i.e., Manager Broadway/Paddington. He and Wayne looked after the buildings’ LANs. etc. I felt they were being wasted and that they had little chance of advancement there. So, after discussing it with them, I swapped them into another area where they would be able to get greater experience and hopefully promoted. It was certainly a loss to me but I hope it wasn’t for them.

    Cheers

Graham was always there for me in support of SCANTS. Nine times out of ten he would stop what he was doing and give me his full support. He more recently showed me how to look up GVoIP calls on RSM in which I have a video of him showing me. Treasured memories…

    Yes so sad,
I have known Graham for a long time, I think he started training in OTC in the same intake as myself and Roger and a few others that are still working in Telstra.

Graham was one of the “nice” guys, always helpful

Please issue my condolences to the family

Graham was the most genuine person one could meet. Always told it how it was and was ready to help you out, drop what he was doing for you.
The kindest person and always had a good story or two…. Many very funny too.
I will miss him very much.
My most sincere condolence for his family and friends.
They don’t make ‘em like they used to
Rest in peace my dear friend

What can I say he was part of the furniture at Paddington office, and one of the good guys from OTC days, he was loved by all that knew him.

Graham was one of the most beautiful, kind, caring and helpful person I have ever come across, always willing to help out whenever needed.

Will miss his sense of humour around the office and he will be so sadly missed.

    Regards
